| As Halgar gathered up the fish and started walking towards the shop to sell them. Although generally pleased with the result, he cursed himself for knocking the bait over, he should be more careful next time. Next time? He started himself by assuming he would be doing more fishing. It was a pastime sure, and he'd make some cash, but to assume he would continue something like this? Fishing was clearly inferior to the marksmanship of hunting. Though admittedly there was no game for him to hunt here. He stopped contemplating as he reached the shop, he made his way inside and put his Channel Catfish(10=5) and his Large Mouth Bass(6=3) on the counter "I would like to sell these fish I caught, unless you find it in your heart to give me a better price I believe eight marks are in order?" Halgar accepted the coins and made his way down towards the fishing spot again, to fry his carp over a fire while trying to catch more fish, for it seemed there was little else to do round here. | |

| Halgar was quite pleased with the catch today, three carps(1=1=3), two small mouth bass(6=3=6), one brim(2=1=1), two pikes(10=5=10), and one goggle-eye(4=2=2) was really a good catch(3+6+1+10+2=22). He yawned as he gathered up his things and started to make his way towards the shop to sell it. Having left the fish on the counter and gotten his pay he made his way back to the lake and set up a small camp, he prefer sleeping in somewhere quiet and secluded, and the area surrounding the lake was perfect. | |

| Whistling a merry tune (for he knew he had been lucky with his catch after the weather had taken such an unexpected turn for the worse), Arkanid entered the shop, his brim(1), goggle-eye(2), small mouth bass(3) and two bowfish(5x2) slung in a bag over his shoulder. These he deposited on the counter, even flashing the woman who owned the shop a quick smile in his good mood as they made the transaction.
He left shortly after, pocketing his 16 coins, though he did pause to examine the oddites and supplies the shop offered with interest.
But he did not tary, for a far more important purchase lay ahead of him. | |
